"The 13th Serpent and the Door Beyond Time"
Story:
Kalvanar stood frozen.
Before him — the Blind King, a twisted version of his own self, scarred by centuries of despair.
In his crown writhed the forbidden 13th Serpent, pulsing with energy that felt... wrong.
It hissed not like a creature — but like a clock ticking backward.
> “You came to stop me?” the Blind King growled.
“You came to stop your own future?”
The world around them flickered — moments from the past and future clashing in the air like lightning.
Kalvanar had mere minutes before the
Timequake would erase everything
The Bargain:
But then, the Blind King offered him a deal:
> “Let me destroy time... and I will free you from guarding it forever.”
“Join me. We can build a realm without fate — no pain, no death, no choices.”
Kalvanar hesitated.
All his life he had served time — watched civilizations rise and fall, friends grow old while he remained unchanged.
Was it so wrong to wish for an end?
Just then, the 12 serpents around him started dimming… one by one.
Only the 13th serpent glowed now, whispering secrets from outside existence.
The Door Beyond Time:
Suddenly, a vortex cracked open behind the Blind King —
A door made of nothingness, called “The Edge of Always” — a place beyond time where forgotten gods sleep.
To enter, a being must give up their past or their future.
Kalvanar realized:
If the Blind King entered it with the 13th Serpent, all timelines would collapse into a loop — an eternal prison.
But there was a way to stop it…
He had to use the 13th Serpent himself.
The Choice:
Kalvanar lunged — not to fight —
but to embrace the Blind King.
Time itself trembled.
> “I accept you… the future I fear. But I choose to rewrite you.”
The 13th Serpent slithered from the Blind King's crown into Kalvanar’s heart, merging with the 12.
A flash of light tore through the sky.
The 13 became 1 —
A complete Circle of Time, no longer bound by fear or destiny.
The Ending… or a Beginning?
The door vanished.
The Timequake calmed.
And Kalvanar?
He opened his eyes in a quiet jungle…
But something was different.
There were now 14 serpents around him.
One of them… was speaking.
> “Master, the timelines have cha
nged.
There is a new threat... and it’s not from the past…
It’s from the future you never lived.”
