Prologue:
“Not every palace hides gold...
Some hide portals to other worlds.”
The Story Begins...
In a forgotten village in Rajasthan stood the haunted ruins of a palace — Chandravirgarh.
Locals whispered of a staircase hidden deep within.
But it wasn’t ordinary...
The seventh step was said to lead beyond this world.
17-year-old Aarav had always felt an invisible pull toward that palace, like a forgotten memory calling his name.
One twilight evening, he walked in.
The Mystery of the Seven Steps:
The palace was crumbling, dusty and broken...
Yet in the center stood a perfect staircase —
Just seven glowing steps.
As Aarav placed his foot on the first one,
the world around him changed.
Each step opened a new realm:
- The first — a still desert, where time was frozen.
- The second — a whispering forest, where trees spoke in riddles.
- The third — a mirror-like lake showing moments from his forgotten past.
And on and on…
Each step pulling him deeper.
The Seventh Step:
On the seventh step, there was no ground.
Aarav stood on a glass bridge —
beneath him: nothing.
Above him: stars frozen mid-blink.
Across the bridge stood another Aarav.
Same face, same age… but with colder eyes and darker clothes.
The mirror version spoke:
"You are what you chose to become.
I am what you left behind."
Their voices echoed. Their presence merged.
Only one Aarav would return.
The End… Or the Beginning?
The villagers say Aarav came back.
But… his eyes were different.
Silent. Glowing. Watching.
The palace?
Gone — vanished without a trace.
But if, one night,
you dream of climbing seven glowing steps…
Be careful.
The seventh one may not bring you back.
